About Workaholics Retreats

Quaandry has worked closely with Workaholics Retreats to develop a visual identity, tone of voice and digital designs that position the retreats as a lifestyle company unafraid to discuss women’s issues - mental & physical health, pregnancy & children, building wealth & fiancial independence, and much more.

Workaholics Retreats provides a community and knowledge from global experts through their in-person and virtual events. Their in-person 7-day destination retreats are designed to provide a safe space for women to discuss their struggles and fears, while they learn about mindfulness, engage in new activities and have opportunities to network. The destination retreats have taken the community all across Europe and Africa, to beautiful villas where they can disconnect and re-charge. The Virtual Summits take place twice a year, and they gather female experts from across the globe to talk to a worldwide audience.

According to the World Health Organisation, one in four people have experienced a mental health condition at some point in their lives, and one in three women are subjected to physical, sexual or mental abuse. These numbers are rising with the Covid-19 pandemic, where quarantine worsens mental health and the imposed confinement increases cases of abuse. “Our goal is to create a safe space for women to connect, talk to each other and the experts they need, and find the resources to fulfil their journey,” says Nyasha Gwatidzo, co-founder of Workaholics Retreats.

Due to the sensitive nature of most topics, Quaandry has created an identity that simplifies their message to the public, making the brand discrete and welcoming. The aim is for the brand’s message to be warm and empowering, encouraging women to take action to make the necessary changes to achieve their goals and start living a happier, more balanced life.
